# ───────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────── # PALMA — The Creator Honours # Security policy and contact — RFC 9116 # https://www.rfc-editor.org/rfc/rfc9116 # ───────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────── Contact: mailto:security@palmaawards.com Contact: https://palmaawards.com/report Expires: 2027-12-31T23:59:59.000Z Preferred-Languages: en, en-GB Canonical: https://palmaawards.com/.well-known/security.txt Policy: https://palmaawards.com/legal/terms Hiring: https://palmaawards.com/press # ── What PALMA is ──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────── # # An awards institution and a permanent public record of achievement in the # creator industry. It is NOT a content platform, a social network, a # marketplace, or a host of adult material. It stores no creator media beyond # one reviewed portrait per claimed record. # # Everything PALMA publishes is intended to be public. Everything else — # judging, verification, claims, reports, the audit log — is intended never to # be. Most of what follows is about the boundary between the two. # ── Severity, in PALMA's terms ─────────────────────────────────────────────── # # CRITICAL — the integrity of the record # · Forging or altering a verification record, achievement or honour # · Producing a /verify/ page that resolves for an award never conferred # · Conferring, revoking or reordering an honour without the two-administrator # path, or without an audit entry # · Any write to a historical award that leaves no trace # # CRITICAL — the confidentiality of judging # · Reading judge scores, rationales, deliberations or conflict declarations # without a judging role # · Learning which judge was assigned to which candidacy # · Any route by which a sponsor or commercial role reaches the above # # CRITICAL — identity and personal data # · Reading another account's Dossier, claim evidence or verification case # · Claiming a creator record you do not control # · Reaching /admin, /portal or /judge without the corresponding role # · Account takeover of any kind, including via password reset or the # email-change flow # # HIGH # · Nomination manipulation that survives rate limiting, duplicate detection # and email verification # · Reading a pending (unreviewed) portrait, or an unpublished creator record # · Sending mail as PALMA, or injecting content into a list dispatch # · Subscribing or unsubscribing an address you do not control # · Bypassing the suppression list # # MODERATE # · Stored or reflected XSS on any authenticated surface # · CSRF against any server action # · Enumerating accounts, creators or nominators through timing or error text # · Cache poisoning of a portrait or verification URL # # LOW / OUT OF SCOPE # · Missing headers with no demonstrated impact # · Rate limiting on unauthenticated read-only pages # · Clickjacking on pages with no state-changing action # · Reports generated solely by automated scanners, with no working exploit # · Social engineering of PALMA staff, and physical attacks # · Denial of service, volumetric testing, and anything degrading the service # for real users # ── Things that are findings in themselves ─────────────────────────────────── # # PALMA holds NO identity documents, NO biometric data, NO date of birth, and # NO raw IP addresses. If you find any of these in our systems, that is a # finding regardless of whether you had to break anything to see it — tell us. # # PALMA holds no location more precise than a country for a creator who has not # claimed their record. A city, an address or coordinates on an unclaimed # record is likewise a finding in itself. Portrait uploads are re-encoded and # stripped of EXIF on receipt; a stored portrait carrying metadata is a bug. # ── Rules of engagement ────────────────────────────────────────────────────── # # Please DO # · Test against your own accounts and your own creator record # · Stop at proof of concept — read one record, not the table # · Report promptly, with enough detail to reproduce # · Ask us for an isolated environment; we will provide one # # Please DO NOT # · Test against live nomination or judging data # · Access any real person's verification case, claim evidence or Dossier # · Modify, delete or exfiltrate data belonging to anyone else # · Run automated scanners against production # · Contact creators, nominators or judges as part of your testing # # Acting in good faith under these rules, PALMA will not pursue you. We will # credit you if you want it, and not if you do not. # ── What to expect ─────────────────────────────────────────────────────────── # # Acknowledgement within 3 working days. # An assessment, with our severity view, within 10 working days. # Regular updates until it is closed. # # PALMA has no bug bounty programme and does not pay for reports. We would # rather say so plainly than imply one. # ── Correspondence ─────────────────────────────────────────────────────────── # # Every address PALMA publishes is read by a person. There is no noreply. # # security@palmaawards.com vulnerabilities, account safety # concerns@palmaawards.com enforcement, complaints, data protection # concierge@palmaawards.com accounts, records, claims, everything else # laurels@palmaawards.com the record itself — honours, seasons
