Open to creators aged 18 or over who produced and published their own work during the qualifying year. Where a creator worked with a crew, the nomination should say so.
Judges assess craft against the resources actually available, so a well-finished piece made alone can outscore a studio production. Sound is weighed as heavily as picture.
